WOW! We can't believe it is already October! Thank you for taking the time to read our third grade blog. Make sure you are checking it weekly for calendar updates, what we are learning,  a glimpse at our week in pictures!

What are we learning?

Math
In math, learners will continue to build on their understanding of place value as they invent strategies, use standard algorithm and/or use mental math and the properties of operations to construct methods for adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers. Learners will begin to relate these strategies to addition and subtraction word problems.

HomefunReflex math will hopefully begin in October. We are still waiting for all learners to be finalized in the system by the technology department. Be on the lookout for a paper coming home with login information and directions on creating a parent account!
