Yearbooks for Sale

Our yearbook sale is now open! Each year we have a Town Center Yearbook that highlights photos from every class, school events, and staff. It is a great item to have to look back on memories from the year, and we even have a yearbook signing party in May. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please see the graphic below for thee different purchasing options. As a reminder, the TCE Yearbook cost WAS NOT included in the TCE Trail Pass. If you would like a yearbook for your child(ren), you will need to purchase using the website link below.

Our yearbook committee would also love your help in submitting photos for the yearbook. As you attend campus events, if you have any photos you would like to share, see below for information on uploading them to our committee.

January 12th

What we are learning

Math - Parent tutoring, anyone?! This week we will start our deep dive into quadrilaterals and their attributes, which includes parallelograms, rhombuses, squares, rectangles, and trapezoids. To really blow your mind, we will discuss fascinating, abstract concepts like how rhombuses CAN be squares but aren’t ALWAYS squares, how squares are a special kind of rectangle, how rectangles are also parallelograms and quadrilaterals but not rhombuses, and how trapezoids are only quadrilaterals. Do we think it’s time to dust off the ol’ high school geometry book? Nah, your kiddos have totally got this! We’re gonna keep on keepin’ on!

Science - This upcoming week we finish up exploring a variety of fast land changes: tsunamis, landslides, hurricanes and tornadoes.  We are finding what causes these to occur and the result after.

ELAR -

This week we will use the Plot Mountain to share what we know about Wild Robot. Each learner will create a final project that displays our understanding of illustrations, captions, and the key elements of plot including exposition (introduction), rising action, climax, falling action and resolution.

If all goes according to plan, your kids will be Ted Talk keynote speakers….well, kinda! We hope to record our persuasive speeches to share with their appropriate audience.

Social Studies - This week our Geography unit will come to a close. We explore maps and globes, both the physical and digital versions.
