Yearbooks for Sale

Our yearbook sale is now open! Each year we have a Town Center Yearbook that highlights photos from every class, school events, and staff. It is a great item to have to look back on memories from the year, and we even have a yearbook signing party in May. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please see the graphic below for thee different purchasing options. As a reminder, the TCE Yearbook cost WAS NOT included in the TCE Trail Pass. If you would like a yearbook for your child(ren), you will need to purchase using the website link below.

Our yearbook committee would also love your help in submitting photos for the yearbook. As you attend campus events, if you have any photos you would like to share, see below for information on uploading them to our committee.

What we are learning

Math - Graph it up up up, graph it up up up, graph it up up up - we’re on FIRE! The kiddos will be learning about different types of graphs - bar, picto-, and dot, as in dot plots. (All the cool club knows that dots - or Xs - mean people.) See below for an example of a dot plot:

The Merry Merry Multiplication and Division review will also be worked on at school and will be sent home next Friday.

Check out the function machine fun from this week! Thank you for all the donations!

Science - Science comes in so many forms! This week, we will be exploring computer science as part of the Hour of Code movement!

ELAR -

As our countdown to winter holidays continues, we will keep working on understanding the characters and events of a story.  Using the RACE strategy to craft short responses is just one way we reflect on our Wild Robot read aloud. This develops both their reading and writing skills!

Social Studies - To celebrate the Hour of Code, a global movement to expose learners to computer science and coding, we will be introducing our geography unit with a fun mapping project in Scratch Jr!   They will code their “sprite” to navigate a map using directional vocabulary. Learn more about the Hour of Code here!
