iPad ChargingPlease ensure that your child is plugging in their iPad when they get home and charging it overnight. We have had an issue with a large group of learners in each class coming to school with their iPad dead. This makes charging at the same time hard and distancing even harder. We would love your help with iPads arriving at school charged.
HEADPHONES!We have lots of kiddos who have lost/broken headphones. Please make sure that your child has a working pair of headphones for school.

What are we learning?
Math: This week we will start our new unit of Area and Perimeter! We will begin with Perimeter learn that it is the measurement around the outside of a shape.
Language Arts: In language arts, we are kicking off our new character analysis unit. We will start the week with a pre-assessment and then dive into different types of character traits, determining the difference between physical and personality traits. We will begin exploring traits of main characters in the books we read.
Science: This week we will learn about soil and how it is made through the processes of erosion and weathering.
Social Studies: In social studies we are starting our economics unit by first discussing donating and the importance of charity. The learners will be completing a mind mission and exploring different ways to donate time or money. We will also discuss how donations fit into simple budgets.
