What are we learning?
Math
In math, learners will review counting collections of coins. We will also begin to count collections of bills and coins. Towards the end of the week we will review telling time on an analog clock. This year we will cover a new concept of calculating elapsed time.
Language Arts
In reading, we will continue our new unit on Character and Character traits. We will study how a character's actions, thoughts, feelings and conversations will help determine the character traits,
Look for an exciting letter to come home soon to explain the fun way we will wrap up our unit on character traits around the end of November.
Science
In Science, learners will complete their project of designing a game to showcase their understanding of changes in position. We will then begin to explore different forms of energy such as light, sound, thermal and mechanical.
