We are SO proud of these learners for being model citizens every day this week. They are so respectful, kind, and follow directions the first time they are asked. We are so proud of you!

Six Flags Read To Succeed
Your learner should have come home with a letter and reading log for the Six Flags Read To Succeed program. If your child reads 6 hours (360 minutes) and logs their reading (with a parent signature), they will earn a free ticket to Six Flags. This reading log is due back by February 19th to earn the Six Flags ticket.

What are we learning?
Math
In math we will continue our Geometry unit! We will focus on learning 2D shape attributes and classifying these shapes as quadrilaterals.
Language Arts
In Language Arts we will continue our unit on Inferencing. We will finish up our book club books learning about character traits.
Science
In Science, we will be wrapping up our unit on Patterns in the Sky by researching career connections. We will have our unit post test on Wednesday, February 13th.
Social Studies
In Social Studies, learners will be creating a commercial that showcases the geography and human adaptations of their state.
